Musee Bandaam, The Black Temple

After visiting the White Temple last week , do not hesitate , go to the north of Chiang Rai and visit the Black Temple ( Musee Bandaam ) which is located only 10 km, his visit really deserves the crossing of the city.

Create and imagine another artist from Chiang Rai, Thawan Duchanee , it is located in a place somewhat removed and it is visited by very few tourists.
the first building you see in entering , I say the first because it is in reality of 40 buildings of different architectural styles.

Thai -inspired architecture or other countries worldwide.
The artist exhibits his works of art as well as works by artists from around the world, wood sculptures , paintings , furniture and ornaments of bones and skins of animals , this place is a collection of works of Art out of the ordinary.

The first edifice is the Lanna style vihara , built in black wood with a roof Multilevel giving it the appearance of a temple.

On the inside you will discover a huge room with a huge table and contemporary art paintings.
I will not give you a description of all the buildings but when you will walk through this beautiful garden each door opening is a surprise, you will always disorient ,
In cement building painted all in white , crossing huge entrance gate 5 to 6 meters in height , the surprise was complete , in interior all the fournitures and decorations are made in wood, bones , feathers and skins of animals.

Each of your entry will be an adventure in a new and magical world of art, mournful and joyful, you will visit this place with a slight fear of death, which is very often present but also will feel a great interior peace, calm and serenity This place is simply beneficial for the soul.
Black Temple is one of the most unusual place, bizarre and pitorresques that you must put in your travel Northern Thailand.

Next week we will continue our trip down to the South of Thailand , on an island , quiet, relaxing and where tranquility reigns supreme , with splendid beaches almost deserted but every month she becomes the more noisy island and most frequented of Thailand, I will explain why she is both the isle of devils and the Isle of Angels .
