The Daily Roar

Experience a Rush Like No Other at Le Man’s Go-Kart in Subic Bay

Subic abounds with exciting places to visit and activities to do, which are sure to capture any traveler’s interest. One that you can’t miss is Le Man’s Go-Kart, which is located just in front of the Subic Bay Yacht Club and beside the Bicentennial Park, along Rizal Highway. When our family was in Subic a couple of months ago to have a quick escape from the intense Manila heat, we made sure to drop by Le Man’s Go-Kart.

The racetrack is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. We arrived there at noontime before eating our lunch. We didn’t want to race with a full stomach. The place wasn’t that crowded. It took us only a few minutes to rent our go-karts. Le Man’s has different types of go-karts, which are available at different rates. There are single and double seat go-karts. The double seat ones are perfect for couples or parent and child tandems.

Usually, people prefer to purchase the ten-lap race package at a fixed price. One lap could be as swift as 10 seconds if you’re an experienced racer.

I opted for the ten-lap race package, which cost P600. It was my first time to drive a go-kart, actually the first time to drive anything. The second the engine roared, my heart pumped a little bit faster, and adrenaline started to surge. The winding racetrack was not that difficult to maneuver. I felt wind brush through my neck as I zoomed around and around the track. I felt like I was going so fast, and it was incredible! Funny thing was when I watched the video taken of me riding the go-kart, it turned out that I was actually crawling slowly along the track!

Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned racer, or you just want to watch other racers in action, you’ll definitely enjoy going to this popular recreational spot in Subic Bay.
