Calle Crisologo a glimpse of the past

Calle Crisologo showcases houses that were built from the 16th century so if you want to experience a glimpse of the past, you should visit Vigan!!!

How to go? There are two ways.

By land: It will take up to eight hours depending on the traffic. It might be tiring but it’s worth it.

By air & land: Manila- Laoag by plane is one hour plus another one hour from Laoag- Vigan. This is pricier but a lot quicker.

This street will not be awarded by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for nothing. The old buildings are well preserved and most of it are converted into hotels, restaurants and even souvenir shops. Imagine checking-in in a hotel that was over hundred years. Yes, it might be a little creepy because of how many generations has lived there but it’s also educating because it will give you the vibe of the Spanish era.
