4D Illusion at its best!
When you are in Singapore “Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), Asia’s ultimate lifestyle destination resort” is arguably the best tourist attraction you will experience and inside Trick-Eye Museum attraction is arguably the best. It attracts thousands of tourists from around the world every year.
Trick-Eye Museum is the combination of multiple 4D illusion tricks and they can be enjoyed with supreme quality cameras with wide angles. You can see the illusion only in pictures and it is really funny when you are performing a trick and find out the end product is awesome.
So what is it that makes it so alluring?
It is the perfection of 4D illusion which gives amazing experience as they are taking place in full motion. It is like the paintings are jumping out of the walls. It has a lot of murals on walls, where you can take a photo & look like you’re in the middle of the action. You must bring a camera (if you want your whole group in your photos, a tripod may also be useful).
Once you get inside the museum, you can’t keep a watch on time, as you get into the swing of things of trying to take pictures with as many tricks as possible. There is typically a crowd gathered around each trick, waiting for their turn to pose. Unfortunately, there is no proper queuing line for each trick (they have limited space). So, if you would like to take a photo of a trick just hang around the trick and wait for your turn to come.
It is important to mention that you should not take a lot of time as others are waiting for their turn. Of course, there are always some rude and obnoxious people who don’t wait their turn and just lunge forward once someone vacates a trick. So the trick is to place yourself as close as possible to the exhibit, without getting in the way of the person before you who is trying to take a photo. It gives you a great opportunity to be creative and silly with your family and friends.
Who will enjoy this 4D illusion the most?
If you’re someone who enjoys perceptive thinking, optical illusions or brilliant imaginative pictures, the Trick-Eye Museum is a must visit. Right from the onset, which is outside the museum, there are so many marvelous ways to take 4D illusion pictures and trust me you will feel like you should’ve clicked more. This is a place which requires lots of creativity and innovation so bring out the kid in you and pose as creative as you can.
Advice for tourists:
- It’s important though that you get there before 12 PM or after 5 pm as the place gets crowded with all sorts of tourists some of whom have no clue about the place and can block your pictures, which gets either annoying or embarrassing.
- Make sure you are wearing clothing that allows you to squat, lie down on the floor or crouch as there are some amazing photo opportunities.
- Camera is king here, Most people would use their mobile phones to take photos, but I would advise you to go with digital cameras and if possible DSLRs. For most exhibits, the standard 35mm lens would not be able to compress the scene. It is all about posing for the camera and getting the correct angle here, so this place is not for the camera-shy.
- Once you are inside the museum, there is no bathroom and eating/drinking not allowed so make sure you are ready before you enter this. People feel like it will take 1 hour or so but inside it will be little crowded and you will enjoy it so much that it will easily take 2-3 hours. Plan Accordingly.
All in all, it is a must visit for all age groups, we really had fun and you will be amazed to see how innovative and creative can people be to get the best shot.
