Our world is filled with wonders, and yet, we spend most of our lives in crowded cities, stressed out of our minds. I say it is the time we put a stop to this madness and live a little!
So, when you make the plan for your next vacation, how about you forget everything you used to know about traveling? What if you were to choose an exotic location, away from your comfort zone? Which of the ones I mentioned below would you first go to?
1: Vietnam & Cambodia
If you want to see a different side of the world and learn new ways of life that put more focus the spiritual side, a tour in Vietnam and Cambodia is the perfect place to start! The people are incredibly friendly, and the surroundings are magical. But the memories you’ll make in these countries will be your most precious possession.
If you’re ever visiting Vietnam or Cambodia, I recommend exploring the Forbidden Purple City (it hides a lot of history in its walls), the Ha Long Bay, and of course, the city of the God Kings (Angkor Wat).
2: Northern Thailand
With exotic landscapes, luxurious forests, and beautiful cities, Northern Thailand is the perfect destination for anyone looking to escape the craziness of the western world. Here you’ll discover adventure, fun, and lots of delicious and exotic foods!
Not to mention, Thailand has some of the best beaches in the world! But you shouldn’t go just to lie in the sun all day long. The country offers a lot more to explore and you should jump at the occasion! Make sure to visit their temples, which feature gorgeous architecture, talk to the locals (which are super-friendly) and learn some of their customs.
Thailand represents a whole new world to someone used only with the western culture!
3: Barcelona, Span
For those of you who are already familiar with Asia’s beauties and adventures, I recommend Barcelona. The city is impressive now, but its culture and history are even more impressive! Barcelona went through a lot of changes across the ages and you can see the proofs all over its walls and buildings.
Starting with the cobblestone streets built by the Romans and ending with Antoni Gaudi’s most famous project (La Sagrada Familia church), the city will take you on an incredible journey in time!
However, if it’s your first time, I recommend getting a tour. This way you can make sure you’re not missing on anything important. The Barcelona Exclusive Tours can help you find the right tour for your situation.
4: The Philippines
The entire country is an archipelago with over 7,000 exotic islands- need I say more? As one of the most exotic destinations ins anyone’s bucket list, the Philippines offers unique landscapes that will make your Instagram stand out.
The country is a green paradise with sun, clear water and luxurious vegetation. It also offers a wide array of retreats for relaxation and soul-searching. So, if you’re feeling a bit low, I strongly recommend a trip to this heaven on earth!
While it’s true that political and economic instability kept tourists at distance, Zimbabwe makes a return in the year to come. The country is a beautiful combination between the modern world (the capital) and the unparalleled beauty of the African safari.
You can take beautiful tours through some of the most amazing national parks of the world. Here you’ll have the chance to admire the ‘big five’ (elephant, buffalo, lion, rhinoceros, and leopard) in their natural environment.
The good news is that a safari in Zimbabwe is not an overly expensive adventure (compare to more touristy African countries). Not to mention the people are extremely friendly and open!
And if the mention of unique wildlife and amazing people didn’t convince you, how about I mention the mighty Victoria Falls? As you can see, this country has it all!
