Pagudpud, The white sand beach

Known as the Boracay of the North, mesmerize on the wonders of the white sand and blue water that The White Sand Beach at Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte offers. This place is known for it’s cleanliness and atmosphere giving the guests a sense of tranquility. It’s a nice place for you to reflect on some things.

Banaue Rice Terraces standing firm as it endures the test of time. Located at Banaue, Ifugao, this was made 2000 years ago by our ancestors to provide level steps which are planted with rice. This place is also known as the Eight Wonder of the World. Traveling back through time wouldn’t be so bad.

Looking at Mount Salamat National Shrine’s towering cross which is also known as Dambana ng Kagitingan, by locals. This place reflects our respect and pride to our heroes who have made sacrifices for our country and it’s citizens. This was commissioned on 1966 under the Late President Ferdinand Marcos for the 25th anniversary of world war II. This shrine’s location is at Pilar, Bataan. A good place of a little adventure and paying respects.

Visiting our second most active volcano, the Taal Volcano, can give you a sense of uniqueness. Well its not uncommon for volcanoes appear on land even under water but what makes this volcano unique is the location which is on the center of the Taal Lake showing only it’s tip. Trekking near a volcano in the middle of a lake. How awesome is that? This is located at San Nicolas and Talisay, Batangas.

Speaking of Volcanoes, Mount Mayon is the most active volcano in our country. Known for it’s, so called, perfect cone this place attracts quite a lot of tourists every year. Adventure seeking people are scattered all around as the view of igneous rocks stand proud showing nature’s proud beauty. This lovely volcano stands at Albay, Bicol.

The place we are most proud with shining with patriotism. The Luneta Park is a treasured place for all Filipinos. Standing there is the statue of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. This reminds us of his teachings and will for us as a nation proud and free. This place is where he was executed as he still continued to lift his ideals until his last moments. This place has also become his burial place. Park stands at Manila.

Luzon is a wonderful place. Aside from those places, there are still countless of places waiting for you to be discovered. You just need to have the will to have fun and your feet will take you there. Prepare for a journey that you’ll never forget.
