3rd writing contest The Daily Roar
Write an article about your life/experience in Asia and stand a chance to win up to $160!
The Daily Roar is hosting its 3rd writing contest. Everyone living or visiting Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, China, India or Japan may participate. Share your favorite place, food, restaurant or cultural experience of the country your in! For inspiration please visit thedailyroar.com to see previously posted articles.
What do you need to do? And what are the demands for the article?
Step 1: First of all, please like our page. Then write an article that contains at least 2 pictures (original and taken by you) about the subject consisting of around 400 to 500 words. The article must be in proper English! (We will check for spelling/grammar flaws so don’t worry) The subject of the article must be related to a country in Asia like famous local food/dishes, cultural events, lifestyle, travelling/must visit places etc. (for examples go thedailyroar.com)
Step 2: When you’re done send your article together with the pictures (please don’t add the pictures in a word file) to: info@thedailyroar.com or PM us on our page thedailyroar together with your name, e-mail and country location. After that we will check the article and place it on thedailyroar.com and make a post on our page.
Step 3: After your article appears on thedailyroar.com and our page the visitors of The Daily Roar will decide who is the winner. Try to get as many likes, views, shares and comments as possible. The article with the most feedback from the visitors (shares, views, likes, comments) will win the great amount of $100! (€ 85, 1 million rupiah, 5,089.26 PHP) Second prize is $50 and third $10 please convert to your local money rate if yours is not there.
Terms and conditions of this competition:
-A minimum of 10 competitors/articles is needed. If less then 10 the first prize will be saved for the next competition and added to its prize money
-When sending the article and pictures to thedailyroar.com you automatically agree to our copyright conditions which allow us to put thedailyroar.com mark in the picture on our website. The Daily Roar will have full rights for commercial usage of the content and images.
-The article and images need to be unique and cannot be copied or stolen from other blogs or websites. Should this be the case then the contestant will be removed from the competition and reported for plagiarism.
– Shares and comments count per unique person.
– Buying likes, shares and views is not allowed! If a person is caught cheating he will be banned from the competition. Fair play please!
-This competition will last one month, starting from the day it will be published online.
-A contestant is allowed to send more then 1 article for this competition.
-Contestants need to have a Paypal account, since we will make the payment with this service.
– Winners will be contacted on their Facebook page and announced on The Daily Roar Facebook page on 11-10-2017.
